Since 1966 Biscopan has produced and sold biscuit bread and other bakery products such as Ferrarese and Tostarelli of several types, whose characteristic are those sought in the market. Despite the passing of time, the formula to our success does not change: respect for traditions goes together with relentless research of new recipes to meet the requirements of the most demanding consumers. Thus the company has become a leader in the supermarket distribution sector with market development over almost the entire nation and abroad.
In addition Biscopan as a company features a production structure currently made mostly of automatic and independent lines in order to respond to the very diverse needs of the clientele. While the first line processes essentially semi-soft base for sesame-flavoured crackers, while the second is specialized in Ferrarese bread taken from the traditional production of Ferrara. The latest innovative product introduced on the market is the sophisticated Kamut Tostarello suggested for the health-food industry, produced exclusively with natural-raise Kamut flour.
The tender crust of our Crackers is the result of a very particular recipe. The flavours are: “Olive oil Stuzzicose” “black olives” “pizza flavour”. The fragrant homemade breadsticks are available in the sesame-flavoured olive oil and green olive varieties, processed with non-hydrogenated vegetable oil and iodated salt. In addition, since we deal with food products, the company saw to all technical solutions provided by the law to guarantee quality products (Law 626 - ISO 9001:2008 Standard). In this case certification takes up different meanings since it stands as a tool for the products but also for the distributors and the consumers. First of all it is a relevant element in the selection of new suppliers and in the evaluation of the existing ones.
